Color of 2013: Emerald
Pantone recently announced that the 2013 color of the year will be one of my personal favorites: emerald green!

Spring 2013 Wedding Gowns
When I got married, I found looking for wedding gown inspiration to be overwhelming. There are so many designers out there now, and so much to choose from, style-wise.
Now that I'm removed from being a bride myself, however, I find perusing bridal fashion much more enjoyable! Here are some recent gowns that have caught my eye, from the Spring 2013 collections of some of the most established design houses out there:

Spring 2013 Wedding Trends: Belts & Sashes
Another trend that stood out from NY Fashion Week (Spring 2013) was belts over pretty, floral dresses. Re-interpreted for wedding season, I think it's safe to say that opting for a belt or sash over your gown would be a fun, current choice!

Spring 2013 Wedding Trends: Lace
Lace doesn't have to work hard to conjure up romantic images, both sexy and demure!
For a wedding, we're seeing this delicate element pop up not only on gowns, but also hair pieces, decor, floral, and even cakes.
A beautifully intricate veil:
All over on a backless dress:
A sweet way to jazz up an all-white cake:
Down the middle of a long dining table:
Less literal, in a bouquet, courtesy of some sprigs of Queen Anne's Lace...

Spring 2013 Wedding Trends: Minty Green
As we wind down the summer season (sadness!), it's time to look ahead to the coming year. Spring, 2013, to be precise! Over the coming weeks, we'll highlight a few trends we are forecasting as opportunities for wedding planning inspiration.
