We've seen more and more celebrities in recent years stray from tradition when it comes to the dress and we happen to like it. Shenae Grimes-Beech is a recent favorite and I enjoy the sincere story behind her choice. Believe it or not white was not always a wedding tradition. The white dress first became popular in the Victorian era when Queen Victoria wore an all white lace gown at her wedding to Prince Albert.
